The National Lottery Authority [NLA] has lifted the ban on banker to banker operations across the country.

This came to light during the launch of License Lotto Operators and Agents Association [LLOAA] in Accra on Tuesday.

Addressing the large number of lotto operators in Accra, the executive chairman of [LLOAA] Mr. David Offei Agyekum, commended the government and the NLA for their bold decision to embark on public private partnership in the lotto business.

According to him, the initiative would go a long way in helping government to tackle the high rate of unemployment in the country.

As part of efforts to galvanize the support and make strong commitment to the operation of banker to banker, Mr. Offei revealed that Super 4 Intelic Limited has paid one million Ghana cedis to the NLA for the Banker to Banker license.

He said the much awaited Banker to Banker, when operationalize would ensure that all requirements and regulations of NLA are followed.

Saying “the new Banker to Banker will be operated across the country under the laws governing the lotteries authority”.

In line with its objectives, the association according to Mr. David Offei has resulted in putting measures in place to identify its members and fishout the bad nuts in the system by registering and issuing of identity cards.
