Ayawaso Central Constituency branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, has brought the constituency to a standstill during its health walk on Saturday.
The walk which started at Accra Newtown near college and ended at Alajo ayidiki park witnessed massive turn out ever.
It has also energised party faithfuls including sympathizers and constituency gurus ahead of the December polls.
Addressing large crowd gathered, the party’s parliamentary candidate of the NDC Mr. Abdul Rauf Tabazu has encouraged the youth not to fall into the trap of NPP in vote buying, adding that ” the NPP and its surrogates are burnt on using money brainwash new voters on election day.
This he said, would amount to an insult on the intelligence of the people of Ayawaso Central since they (the NPP) have nothing to show over the last 20 years of their representation in parliament.
Mr. Rauf promised to lobby for more projects for his constituency when voted into office come the December polls.
He cited that the last NDC administration has a track record of massive development across the country and that they are coming back to ensure every Constituency has got its share of national development.
