An intelligence gathered at the corridors of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), reveals that some masked national security operatives will be deployed to the border towns of Volta and Oti regions respectively in the coming days to assist the already deployed Ghana Armed FORCES (GAF).
Information we gathered indicates that well armed body- built (macho) masked young men are not national security OPERATIVES but rather members of NPP vigilante groups picked up from their criminal organizations to visit mayhem and attrocities on innocent Ghanaians during the upcoming voter registration exercise starting from Tuesday the 30th June, 2020.
The NPP militants will mount the borders to frustrate the citizens of Ghana living around these border towns just to satisfy the NPP’s unending interest to suppress the people of Volta and Oti regions.
Ghanaiandemocrat.com has gathered that there have been several calls by the indigenes of both regions on the largest opposition National Democratic Congress to rise up against this devilish agenda by the ruling government to disenfranchise eligible voters.
According to our source, NDC has carved the niche for itself over the years in fighting for the ordinary people and champioing the cause of democratic dispensations in the country.
“The NDC must say no to intimidation and frustration, if we refuse to be vigilance and resistive in this situation, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo led NPP will establish and execute their well planned grand scheme agenda of making Ghana a ceremonial multi party state but operational one party state”, aggrieved residents said.
Some members of the NDC who spoke to this portal appealed to the leader and Flagbearer of the NDC, H. E John Dramani Mahama, not fail this party and over the 30million Ghanaian people with his calmness and humble nature since the time has come to resist any attempt by Akufo-Addo’s intimidations of
the citizens of the land.
