Muslim Communities across the country are indepted to former President John Dramani Mahama for the love he showed them prior to the Eid-ul Adha celebration.

A donation was made to the Muslim communities in a bid to join them in the celebration of Eid Al-Adha, and expected that their sacrifice of the faith yield a deeper connection with Allah as well as divine favour and healing for all.

The assorted food items were presented on behalf of former President John Dramani Mahama to the beneficiary Communities by NDC Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Alhaji Arimeya Mahama aka Alhaji Cool Younger.

He was supported by some of his team members, Alhaji Nuru-Deen, Mustapha Abubakar and others.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and Chief Imam for the Ahlussunnah Wal-Jamaah, Sheikh Hajj Umar Ibrahim were grateful to former President John Mahama for his continual support to Muslims anytime Muslims approach their festivities.

The two Sheikhs prayed for JM and the NDC and asked for Allah’s bountiful blessings and to see JM/NDC through this year’s elections peacefully and successfully.

Following the chaotic situations that characterise this year’s on-going new voters registration exercise in some part of Bono and Central Regions, the worried chief Imams called for peace as they further prayed for Allah’s intervention for violence free through to the December 7, 2020 general elections.
