Collaborate With MMUN – West Africa Chapter Boss Tells Govt

The President of West African Chapter of the Montessori Model of the United Nations, King Oyanka Anumle I has urged the Ghanaian government to collaborate with UN charter in ensuring better education for all citizens.

The chief of Oblieman in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Ayittey Anumle Oyanka I, made the statement during the inauguration of the West African Chapter of the Montessori Model of the United Nations in Accra over the weekend.

The inauguration brought together stakeholders, chiefs, pupils and students within the region to the witness the event.

In his speech, King Oyanka I, who doubles has the West Africa Chairman of the chapter admonished the need to add innovations in the education system.

He explained that the MMUN would bridge the gab between the traditional ways of acquiring knowledge and acquiring knowledge to meet the 21st century workforce.

As part of the program, he revealed that batch of students and pupils are expected to take part in global discussions on educational programs to held in New York in March, 2024.

The guest speaker, Mr. Richard Fynn, who was installed chief of New Koforidua with the stool name as HRH Nana Kwabena Boateng expressed his excitement about the project and his support to ensure the aim and objectives are achieved.

He said this chapter would go along way in helping in the promoting of education and making education accessible to all children in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
