Why I Chose Prof. Jane Naana
The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has announced that he will be running the 2020 elections with Professor Jane Naana Agyemang, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast.
According to reports, although she faced several hurdles before she was accepted as the running mate of the former President.
Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang beat off stiff opposition from Dr. Kwabena Duffour who was a former Finance Minister.
Announcing his running mate, the former President said “The National Executive Committee of our great party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) this afternoon, unanimously, endorsed my nomination of Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as my Running Mate for the December 2020 election.
Naana Jane is God-fearing, a distinguished scholar, a conscientious public servant and a role model”.
