According him, about 397 years ago, there was a similar outbreak of disease in the country which couldn’t affect the people of Techiman because Nananom consulted the great god of Techiman Taamensa for rituals to be performed.

Teacher Ateato was making an observation on COVID-19 Pandenmic during an interview with this portal at his residence in the Techiman Municipality on Tuesday.

He revealed that the people of Techiman believed in their gods hence the need to consult them in times of crisis such as COVID-19.

For him, ghanaians and Africans in general have a special way of inviting their ancestors in crisis for their interventions.

He believes that if these rituals are performed, not a single native of Techiman will be affected by the Coronavirus disease.

Mr. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng finally revealed that anytime he sleeps in the night, it appears to him in the dreams that some white men are swimming in the Tano River which occurs to him that the Tano River can cure the Virus.

Therefore suggesting that people who are tested positive should be made to bath with warm water from the Tan River for treatment.
