Sowutuom Assembly Aspirant Outlines Three Priorities

Mr. Mohammed Hakeem, assembly aspirant for Sowutuom electoral area in Anyaa,Sowutuom constituency, has promised to prioritise issues of peace and security, improve road network, and improve drainage among others if given the nod.

He also said he would tackle unemployment and youth restiveness through job creation.

Mr. Hakeem who is popularly known as Zoblazo said: “Peace and security will be my topmost priority as no society will achieve meaningful development without peace.

“I will also initiate good policies and programmes that will address youth unemployment thereby creating jobs for the youths and other residents” he stated.

Mr. Hakeem disclosed that he lobbied for the Sowutuom lorry station to serve the community several years ago.

Speaking at a meeting with stakeholders in the community, he said he facilitated street lights for the community and championed for the formation of landlords association and watch dog committees for the area.

A opinion leader in the community, Mr. James Boateng commended the aspirant for considering the opinion leaders as critical stakeholders in the community development.

Mr. Boateng said “We appreciate you and your campaign team for coming to consult and seek our support in actualising your assembly ambition.

“Your records are clean and we are proud to have somebody like you.

“You have the zeal and the determination to serve the people of Sowutuom and we believe if given the mandate you will serve well.”
