Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Council Bans Alfred Obeng from Campaigning

The Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party NPP Bibiani – Anhwiaso – Bekwai constituency in the Western North Region and former Chief Executive Officer CEO of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation BOST have been banned from campaigning in his constituency.

This is as a result of the PC, Alfred Obeng, and his supporters been accused of meddling in chieftaincy affairs thereby creating tension in the traditional council.

A document sighted by the ghanaiandemocrat.com which was signed by the president of Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Council (SBTC), Katakyie Kwasi Afful II citting Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng of gross disrespect and an attempt resurrect chieftaincy issues at the traditional area.

The letter also accused the NPP’s PC Mr. Alfred Obeng of breeding dissatisfaction, disloyalty among the people.

SBTC believes that the NPP candidate divisive tendencies could Mar the peace of the traditional area.

The letter dated 25th July, 2020 urged the New Patriotic Party constituency chairman to treat it with the necessary it deserves.

Former Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation BOST Chief Executive Officer CEO, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng has won the Parliamentary primaries amidst tension.

Ghanaiandemocrat.com has gathered Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng is in a crunch meeting with the traditional custodians to iron out the differences on the issue.
