Regent Roots for Fanteakwa North DCE’s Reappointment

Begoro Traditional Council, led by it’s Caretaker Ragent, Osabarima Bosompem Ayirepe II has made a passionate appeal to the President, H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to reappoint Mr. Oware Tweneboah for a second term as DCE for the Fanteakwa North District Assembly.

Osabarima Bosompem Ayirepe II on behalf of the traditional council, made the passionate appeal to the president after a brief meeting held yesterday.

According to him, all the over 140 communities within their jurisdiction has experienced and benefitted from the unprecedented developmental achievements chalked by the DCE and the New Patriotic Party’s government in the last four years and for that matter, their unanimous decision to lead the way in ensuring that the president’s good will for the people of Begoro becomes a fulfilment with Mr. Tweneboah.

“We pray you journalists present here to trumpet every single evidence you have seen by yourselves. The good roads on which you traveled to Begoro from Osiem, the numerous schools, water projects, community centres, descent market structures, the efforts to mitigate the Fulani menace and many others you have witnessed in other villages because it is for such achievements we are calling on the president to retain him for continuation”, he stated.

” It is instructive therefore to note that anytime the people of Begoro hear of Hon. Tweneboah, it feels as though they heard of the president because we identify the president’s humility and commitment to improving the lots of Ghanaians in him, and so plead with Mr. President to retain him”, he said.

Touching on issues of COVID-19, Oasbarima Bosompem Ayirepe indicated that, the DCE together with the Traditional Council and stakeholders have done very well in educating the public on the virus and also implemented stiffer punitive measures against person’s identified to have flauted the protocols, particularly by giving them some strokes of lashes once found out by the security officers.

“Here in our jurisdiction, person’s who are identified as flouting the protocols are giving some lashes by our security personnel to instill discipline and that has worked perfectly”, he stated.

He was however obtimistic that government’s performance in the area under Hon. Tweneboah will bring imence benefit to the people.
