Prof. Jane is Next Veep – Komenda Omanhene
The chief of Komenda in the Central Region of Ghana, the hometown of the Vice Presidential candidate of National Democratic Congress NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, Nana Kojo Kru II has declared that the woman has already become the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana.
According to the Omanhene of Komenda, God has odained her to become the next Vice President of the country.
Nana Kojo Kru II remarked the excitement shown by the people shown that she is already there.
Komenda Omanhene made the remarks when the NDC Vice Presidential candidate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang called on him to announce her visit to the Region on Tuesday.
Her visit forms part her first public appearance after the outdooring ceremony held on Monday in Accra.
“We are proud of you. We love. We know that you were selected not just because you are a woman, but because you are extremely competent”, he stated.
He continued that ” You are an efficient doer. And we have absolute conference in you”.
The NDC Vice Presidential candidate was welcomed into the Central Region by teaming youth and women with a rousing show of support amids drumming and singing.
