NORTH TONGU DCE HOT …As He Stands Accused of Causing Chaos at Dorfor Akata Clan

The District Chief Executive (DCE) Officer of the North Tongu District of Volta Region, Osborn Divine Fenu, has been accussed fueling chiefteincy dispute in Dorfor Traditional Area.


The DCE has further been accussed of boycotting is role as a Representative of President Akufo Addo in the area and rather indulging in chieteincy issues in the area.

An alledge information had it that the DCE is fueling the current chiefteincy dispute after the death of the Chief of the Dorfor Akata Clan is been perpetrated by the Government official ( the DCE).

Addressing the media at a press conference at Dorfor yesterday, the Stool Father of the Dorfor Akata Clan, Kofi Gomo Saho alledged that the DCE has joined hands with some unknown people to cause chaos with regard to chiefteoncy in the area.

Accoridng to the Traditional Leader all past DCE for the area acted neutrally and expressed worry over why the Mr. Fenu has failed to follow their footsteps.

“Mr. Fenu has joined hands with one Mr. William Kwame Doko who is illegally parading himself as chief of the area to challenge their legitimacy” he disclosed.

He further stated that Mr. Doko, though a member of the Clan but hails from a family that has been designated the role of Linguists and has abrogated himself the tittle of Torgbe Saho VI.

He said that there is a document which clearly identifies which role he should associate himself with as someone who comes from the Doko Kufa Family.

“During the development and unscrupulous behaviour of Mr. William Kwame Doko and his cohorts, we aver that in the petition before the Judicial Committee of the Volta Regional House of Chief tittled 1. Zikputor Tornyi Kpomorglo, Rev. Francis Gomli, Desmond Seldzi Vrs William Kwame Doko, Humor Hunorvi, Fiadugbe, Kofi Gbolonor,Togbe Anaze Titriku, Togbe Tsufohor Attra with suit No. VRP 1/2017, and we, the petitioners therein sought the following reliefs or remedies” he stated.

He also said ” We the petitioners aver that thr Defendants in the said suit entered conditional appearance and subsequently filed a motion to set petitioners writ of summons which application was vehemently opposed by us the petitioners”.

Meanwhile, when contacted the North Tongu DCE denied all the allegations levelled against him, saying that the were mere propaganda to tarnish his good image.

The DCE stated that “As a chairman at a DISEC meeting with the two bodies i orderd them to go and settle the issue at a nearby Traditional Council”.
