NDC PC for Krowor Organizes Free Medical Screening
The National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) Aspiring Member of Parliament for Krowor constituency, in the Greater Accra Region, Madam Agnes Naa Momo Lartey has organized a free medical Screening for her constituents’ over the weekend.
The free medical Screening exercise was in partnership with Christian Mission Resource Foundation.
Over 5,000 residents were screened and given free medication while those with critical conditions were advised and referred to bigger health facilities for proper medical attention.
Speaking in an interview at the back stage of the event, Madam Agnes Naa Momo said the exercise would continue from time to time to improve the health conditions of the people.
According to her, as a political leader there is the need to ensure the people stay healthy .
“The exercise is non political, the people need to stay a healthy h good life irrespective of one’s political affiliation”, she stated.
The head of the medical team, Dr. Victor Etwire explained that the team is undertaking general medical screening with with much emphasis on blood pressure and and eye screening.
Dr. Victor Etwire was very optimistic that the exercise would go a long way in helping keep a healthy life style for the people.
One of the beneficiaries, Elizabeth Kilson thanked the organizers of the program, adding that the exercise is timely and appropriate for the people since a lot of her type could not afford just a medical screening.
Another beneficiary, Michael Kwame Dompreh commended the NDC PC for the area for organizing such a health screening.
He said madam Agnes Naa Momo has shown a sign of good leadership over the years and that this is the time for her tremendous, selfless and dedicated services to humanity needs to be recognised by the constituency electorates.
