Cracks in NDC Zongo Caucus

National Democratic Congress NDC Zongo Caucus is said to be facing leadership crisis ahead of the 2020 general elections.

The Caucus, so far has failed on its mandate in telling the good story and achievements of the party to the Zongo communities.

Alhaji Cole Younger, the National coordinator is seen as one of dormant leaders the Caucus has ever had and seems to be facing herculean task with some top Muslim gurus in the party.

His abysmal performance in recent times is gradually becoming a talking brigade.

Some individuals are said to be sidelined by the National Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Cole Younger for not supporting his campaign prior to the National delegates conference to elect national executives of the party some few years ago.

The party’s main agenda of establishing the Zongo Caucus is gradually becoming a rhetoric due to bad leadership style by its Coordinator.

Zongo Caucus is currently faced with weak leadership and rancour display of arrogance that is yielding no positive results for the party going into 2020 general elections.

The Ghanaiandemocrat.com can report that the Caucus is in serious leadership crisis that needs serious attention from the top party hierarchy .

Too much of power struggle and lack of proper policy programs has seen the Caucus fast loosing grounds to the Nasara club of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

NDC’s zongo Caucus has limited its activities to attending funerals, weddings and naming ceremonies.

While the NPP’s Nasara club is on the ground deceiving people with false informations and cash, the NDC’s has been mute without heeding to the call of the masses.

We have also gathered that some power play is rendering the Caucus inactive.

This, according to our source has rendered some regional coordinators useless with no program of activities to be executed.

Going into the 2020 crucial elections, NDC Zongo Caucus is undermining its core mandate to champion the cause of the party in the zongos.
