Constituency Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Awutu Senya East,Amidu Tauriq, has passed away.

Amidu Tauriq’s untimely demise was confirmed by some party officials and close sources earlier today. He was a dedicated member of the NDC and had been actively involved in party affairs within the Awutu Senya East Constituency.

The NDC’s Communication Director for the Awutu Senya East Constituency struggled to contain his emotions as he confirmed Amidu Tauriq’s passing stated “i am shocked and i just cant believe this is true “

Sources have it that Amidu Tauriq had been battling illness for some time and was receiving medical care at Ridge Hospital in Accra
