NDC Alhaji Ward At Trobu Walk For Unity
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman of the Trobu Constituency, Abdul Aziz Ayitey Aryee, has called for unity
among members in the constituency to enable NDC re-capture power from the NPP in the 2020 general elections.
According to him, only unity and trust and respect for one another will bring the party back to power come 2020.
Mr. Aryee said this after a health walk organized by the Alhaji Ward of the Trobu Constituency of the NDC.
The three hour walk commenced at the Alhaji Lorry Park through some principal roads and areas like Blue Gate, Golden Door, Chantan among others amidst music singing and dancing ended at the Alhaji Lorry Park.
Mr. Aryee noted that the NDC lost the 2016 elections due to division in the party and underscored the need to bring all members on board in order to secure victory come the next general elections.
Commenting on the Trobu Parliamentary seat, he stated that it was about time for the NDC to win that seat from the NPP adding that everything will go in their favour.
The Deputy Communication Officer for the Trobu Constituency of the NDC, Janet Anabel Walter, explained that the walk was to create awareness and to revive the branches.
She stated that Ghanaians are calling for change and urged party supporters to put the past behind them to reunite for the victory of the part.
