Hip-life star and CEO of Mad Time Entertainment, Emmanuel Botchey, alias Kwaw Kesse, has slammed the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) saying, it is the most disgraceful institution in Ghana.
According to him, the Union, which is headed by Obuor does not have the welfare of Ghanaian artists at heart.
Speaking on Atinka FM’s Akwaaba show hosted by DJ Candy Man Friday, Kwaw Kese, an avowed critic of Obuor, alleged that MUSIGA and its president “take money from sponsors and give peanuts to musicians” and that he (Kwaw Kese) is a victim of such corrupt act.
He said he does not pay dues to MUSIGHA due to its corrupt nature.
” I don’t pay dues because the music industry is poor and there’s nothing they (MUSIGA) have done which benefits me,” the Abodam man charged.
