“Bisa Kdei deserves huge credit for what he has done for highlife music in Ghana. He managed to set a trend that has been followed by many of today’s popular musicians including King Promise and Kuami Eugene,” Abeiku Santana stated.
“Unlike the era of Ofori Amponsah and others, Bisa Kdei brought a new vibe to highlife that has been embraced by the likes of Kofi Kinaata, King Paluta, etc.”
Abeiku further explained that Bisa Kdei’s ability to modernize highlife without losing its essence has also made the genre more appealing to both local and international audiences. This, Abeiku Santana believes, is a testament to Bisa Kdei’s talent and vision as an artist.
