The Okpoi Gonno land has been vested into the Samampa Real Estate for trust way back in 1998.

In its dubious activities, the lands commission and it’s land tittle unit have been accused of the cause of all land litigation in Ga State.

Speaking at a news conference held in Accra, the Teshie Traditional Council Secretary, Mr. Paul Akpor Sowah, accused the land commission for masterminding some sale of Okpoi Gonno land to one Samuel Kofi Diame and other developers without any consultation to the rightful owners of the land.

“How can the land commission gives titles to someone who doesn’t hold any capacity on the said land”, he questioned.

The land in question was earmarked for Teshie development city which some private developers have encroached on.

It is alleged that the developers are putting up a shopping mall.

According to him, Samampa led by its CEO Madam Rose Aryee is contesting this same land in court for which she was able to obtain injection on it.

The Teshie Traditional Rulers confirmed giving the land and its tittle to Mrs. Rose Aryee for which it was registered in the name of Samampa Real Estate in 1998.

The lands Commission was reported to have plotted that same land with different titles and raises eyebrows.

He appealed to any group or individual who are busily developing in Okpoi Gonno land to come and see either Samampa or Teshie Traditional Council for proper negotiations.

Mr. Paul Akpor Sowah hinted that failure to do so the said group or individual shall face their wrath.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Samampa Real Estate, Mrs. Rose Aryee was very confident that the Okpoi Gonno land was given to her by the entire families of Teshie for trust.

According to her, immediately after the late Mankralo died and was buried, the caretaker came to her for a portions of the land to be given to him which he intended selling it out and she declined.

Thereafter, he managed to confuse some of the elders and also get a land tittle unit officer who manage in getting them one Mr. Samuel Kofi Diame, a businessman to buy the land and titled it in his name whilst she still has her name there as a tittle holder too.

Mrs. Rose Aryee warned both Kofi Diame and the Caretaker Mankralo to keep off the land since nobody can encroach on it and so far as she remains the legitimate tittle holder with six signature.

Mrs. Rose Aryee appealed to both government and the judicial service to fast track land cases to avoid doubled sale of land.
