Mr. Kplorm Kofi Dordunu ,a vibrant  member of the National Democratic Congress( NDC) in the Ablekuma Central Constituency who  went through the vetting process successfully to contest for the Chairmanship position, has promised to unite the constituency if giving nod.

The vibrant aspiring chairman made  this known  at the sidelines  of the vetting.

According to him,  he has identified the weakness of the party in the constituency hence his readiness  to play a critical role to unite all members  to work towards victory in 2020 general elections.

According to him the division, bigotry and the functionalism has been the major problem and weakness confronting the party in the constituency, adding that he will ensure that the party wins back the seat and the general elections in 2020 when giving the nod.

Touching on experience, the young vibrant chairman hopeful stated that one of his contingent has been there before and was voted out and the other one is acting and has done nothing for the people in the constituency which compelled the national executives to send a working team to come and work during the 2016 elections.

Mr. Dordunu expressed optimism of winning the Chairmanship race due to his ideas and plans he has to change things in the constituency by uniting the people adding that he will ensure that there will be a base to project the constituency to a different level and will also ensure that there will be transparency as monies will be handled at the treasury and not between chairman and Secretary.

“As a leader anytime I have to talk I have to identify a problem, if I don’t identify a problem then I don’t know why I am there and finding or identifying problem in Ghanaian contexts may be seen as rode and every leader who wants to lead people especially in Ablekuma Central where we have much division, I think every leader should identify problem and I have identify the problem” he noted.

The constituency he said is not united, the grassroots are not working, no ideas and there is nothing like organization and no commitment .

This he called on all delegates to go in for a change adding that people have been there for eight years and nothing has been done hence the need for the delegates to try him due to his doable objectives by assessing him with what he is telling them.

With the strong backing of majority of the party members in the constituency as a result of his organizational capabilities, Mr. Dordunu is widely considered as the favorite among his three other contestants.

Some  members of the party who spoke to this reporter  described Mr. Dordunu as a man with vision who has capabilities to unite the constituency and deal with  broad knowledge on all issues confronting the people which led to apathy.

They further described him as a unifier and therefore has all the qualities to lead the party in the constituency to victory in  the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
