Get Back to School Foundation visits JHS students in Techiman Municipality

Get back to school foundation is a non governmental organization in the Techiman municipality which aim at encouraging teenage mothers to go back to school or learn a trade and educating the young girls to abstain from teenage pregnancy has visited some Junior High Schools by educating them to revive their hope in the Municipality.

Speaking in an interview with Kwadwo Ofosu Baffoe of ASTA FM in Techiman, the executive director of the foundation Mrs. Abdul Razak Farida said that, the purpose of the visitation is to educate the students to abstain from teenage pregnancy and also to encourage them to learn hard for their final exam.

She then said that, due to the Coronavirus pandemic they decided to go with PPE’s like hand sanitizers and nose masks for the students to protect themselves.

Moreover, head teachers of some of the schools also disclosed the positive impact of the foundation visiting their students to educate them about teenage pregnancy and how they can abstain from it and then thank the foundation for coming along with some PPE’s to support fight against the novel Coronavirus pandemic.

Finally, some of the students also expressed their profound gratitude to the foundation and thanks them for such a wonderful education.
