Denkyembour DCE Stops MP’s Project For Community Development
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Denkyembour in the Eastern Region, Mr. Seth Brekorang Ofosu has stormed the project site with thugs to stop workers on a funeral ground project near completion.
The project, embarked by the seating Member of Parliament (MP) Hon. Henry Boakye Yiadom (Okoyo), forms part of his campaign promises.
Sending shivers down the spine of the NPP in the constituency, the DCE in conspiracy with the chief of Akyem Kusi, Nana Ntiamoah Kusi Boabum II who is also a government appointee at the District Assembly, organized thugs to storm the project of the MP for the people of Akyem Kusi.
This did not go down well with the youth of the area. They stormed the chief’s palace to demand answers of selfish interest exhibited by the chief for halting of the project.
The youth of the area have vowed to make sure the funeral ground project is fully completed for the people of Akyem Kusi and the entire Akwatia township.
Hon. Henry Boakye Yiadom, since becoming MP of the area, has embarked on numerous development projects of interest and benefits to the people which is sending shockwaves to the NPP and its sympathizers.
As campaign season is approaching closely, the government is burnt on doing anything within its powers to discredit the hard working seating Member of Parliament.
Our source in the district disclosed that some Chiefs known to be in bed with the NPP would be used against the MP in trying to discredit his already hard earned reputation.
