Become Future Thinking Pastors-Spiritual IGP Tells Bible College Graduates
The Mount Olive Bible College, Nkawkaw campus has held its 5th graduation and ordination ceremony for 23 servant ministers into kingdom business at Nkawkaw on Saturday.
The graduates were taking trough 12 month tuition in deliverance, homiletics, doctrines and other related courses to build their capacity and equip them fully to become ministers of God.
In a speech read on behalf of the college, Apostle Joseph D. Yankson indicated that the heartbeat of our Lord Jesus was discipleship and soul wining and that’s exactly the vision of the college to diligently train well equipped ministers to go out there and win enough souls for Christ.
He noted further that it is the reason the college brands itself as maximizing knowledge and minimizing errors in the kingdom business.
Apostle Joseph D. Yankson also took the opportunity to call on Bible College lecturers to help build Christ like ministers by avoiding the recent unnecessary grudges among themselves and promote unity, love and kind attitude among them.
In a sermon to empower the graduates ahead of their ministerial tasks, Snr Rev. Frank K Gyasi, a.k.a. the Spiritual IGP, General Overseer of World for Christ Gospel Outreach International Ministries and president of the Mount Olive Bible College admonished the 23 graduates to become future thinking pastors and ministers just as Christ did by always praying, studying the scriptures and thinking the future on their ministries, members, leaders, finances and all other responsibilities associated with their calling.
He also exclaimed that later day’s pastors rather focus on earthly gains than the actual kingdom assignment which is shepherding God’s flock in the sheep pen.
Rev. Frank Gyasi further cautioned the graduating ministers not to use their pastorial calling for unnecessary courses and scarring of their members. He called on them to build their calling on humility and wisdom.
The Rev. indicated that their licenses were valid for only a year which could be withdrawn if any of them behave otherwise.
Bishop Asafo Agyei on his part cautioned them not to be complacent because they have been ordained but to realize the sufferings of the ministry as Christ did and seek spiritual strength for the task ahead.
Rev. Dickson Agyeman Prempeh, Apostle Joseph Duncan Yankson, and Very Rev. Jonathan Lincoln Arthur were among the supporting minister who graced the occasion.
