Be Ambassadors for COVID-19 – GHANSU Urges members

The nation’s largest supporting group, Ghana Supporters Union GHANSU has called on its members to devote time in educating people on the dangers and precautionary measures of coronavirus, COVID-19.

According to the union, government has put in place measures including partial lockdown of parts of the country and people seem not to comply with the directives.

This according to GHANSU prompted the supporting body to use its members at the various parts of the country as ambassadors in educating residents on the dos and don’t.

Speaking exclusively with ghanaiandemocrat.com in Accra on Friday, Mr. Daniel Ofori Gidison, (PLUTO) a member of GHANSU stated that COVID-19 must be fought with all hands on desk.

He said government can not do it alone, hence, their call on members to join the fight against COVID-19.

Mr. Gidison revealed that their President, Dr. Abraham Boakye (ONE SUPPORTER) has endorsed the initiative and has his blessing.

One man supporter has therefore urged members of the Ghanaian populace to observe the social distancing protocol and abide by the World Health Organization (WHO) precautions by washing hands under running water etc.

So far Ghansa as suspended all activities relating to the welfare of the Union.

Currently, Ghana has recorded 204 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with the Greater Accra Region leading with 183 with infected persons.
