The National Democratic Congress NDC youth in the Ayawaso East constituency of the Greater Accra Region are canvassing votes for Mr. Mohammed Ramne a.k.a Alabi.

The grassroots kingpin, has he is been described, has had numerous calls from the youth front to take up the party’s constituency chairmanship position in the upcoming constituency elections.

Youth from the 30 wards who spoke to this portal on why they are calling on Alabi to become their next chairman, explained that he has been the party’s financial and the the activities of the with his own resources over the years.

Adding that “Alabi has single handed and finance most of the party campaign in the constituency and across the country with cash other resources”.

According to them, the current chairman has lost touch with the grassroots.

For them, going into the 2024 general elections requires embodiment of self esteem, down to earth, strong and financially independent individual to recapture power from the already failed New Patriotic Party (NPP) led Nana/Bawunia government.

The proven track record of Alabi in the constituency has indeed compared to non.

He has also donated unspecified amount of money to various ward coordinator in support of purchasing nomination forms to all candidates contesting for any branch positions.

The constituency chairman hopeful has also proven to be the best candidate among the contestants by ensuring welfare of the party members and non members have been taken care of over the years.

With this, the grassroots of the party in the Ayawaso East constituency are throwing their support to Mr. Mohammed Ramne aka Alabi as their choice of candidate to lead the party in the constituency.

Though, not officially out, but the information gathered on the ground indicates that chairman Alabi as he is affectionately called, is lacing his boot to join the race.

We have gathered in all indications that the man is really the choice of the grassroots and has the blessing and support of the founding members of the party in the constituency.
