Minister, Party Organizer Trade Blows

The NPP Regional Youth organizer for some time now has not been in good terms with Mr. Quartey who also doubles as the Member of Parliament, MP for Ayawaso Central constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Ghanaiandemocrat.com gathered that the NPP Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer is fueling candidate to contest the Deputy Minister in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.

Angry Henry Quartey did not take it lightly from his regional Youth organizer’s throwing his support against his opponents.

Hon. Henry Quartey in a show of power to teach his party member some lessons, ordered one ASP John Danso at the regional police command to arrest Moses Abor and detained him.

It took the intervention of some party gurus and Ayawaso Central constituency executives to get him released.

Meanwhile, this portal can report that all is not well with the camp of Henry Quartey as tensions rift between the constituency executives to throw their weight behind Henry’s opponent.

Ghanaiandemocrat.com investigations shows MP would want to use every means possible to win the primaries.

It is alleged also that the Deputy Minister would crash any party executive who support his opponent in the upcoming primaries.

The NPP Regional Organizer Youth has been granted bail and expected to report to the regional police command on Monday.
