Young Professionals: NPP Worsening The Lives of Ghanaians
A PRO-NDC movement called The Young Professionals, has bemoaned the manner in which the NPP government is running the affairs of the country.
The group during its maiden press briefings noted that 15 months since the Nana Add led government came into power ,nothing has been done to improve the condition of living of the people.
Briefing news men in Accra recently, the group ‘s chairman, Mr.Elikem Kotoko said the NPP has failed the people woefully and has failed to fulfil not even one of its campaign promises which were based on change and jobs for the people.
The only change we’ve seen so far is attacks on public institutions by NPP vigilante groups and creation of unacceptable positions and ministerial portfolios thereby increasing the pressure on the scanty resources the country has.
The only jobs the government created was by sacking public and civil servants suspected to be aligned to the NDC and replaced them with NPP foot soldiers.
The current economic situation in Ghana is worsening day by day as the prices of items shots up always
The chairman also touched on the infamous military deal between Ghana and the USA, which he was of the view that it will not benefit Ghana but rather bring great consequences to the nation.
The Young Professionals is totally against the deal and will on any day support any group to demonstrate to express their displeasure towards that deal.
President Nana Addo has failed to practice which he and his party preached during the electioneering campaign period to protect the Ghanaian purse. They have rather worsening the situation by appointing 110 Ministers, 998 presidential staffers amongst others.
He called on the government to sit up and do what it was brought to power to do which is to lessen the sufferings of the people.
