Team Alabi Raises Red Flag Over Shoddy Election Preparation-Ghanaiandemocrat

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flag bearer aspirant, Prof. Joshua Alabi has alleged that the national election committee of the party has initiated plans to disadvantage all the six aspirants over one candidate.

According to the campaign team of Prof. Alabi, the delay of issues their team with accreditation letters and other election materials ahead of time calls for worried.

Addressing the media at his residence in Accra, the campaign manager of the team, Hon. Richard Quashiga urged the national organizers of the election to ensure a level playing field for all the candidates.

Hon. Quashiga accused the national executives of deliberately delaying their observer and agent cards aim at preventing their agents from getting access to the venue and to work to the advantage of their preferred candidate.

‘’We expect the executive take proper action to address the concerns raised and if that fails, we will reflect on the next line of action’’, he stressed.

He stated further that ‘’any action that will be taken by the campaign will not be done by team Alabi alone but together with the other contestants’’.

For the campaign team, ‘’some national and regional executives of the party who supposed to be the referees of the occasion have rather taken sides by openly campaigning for the former president John Dramani Mahama’’.
