Suspected Gay Attacked
A young man believed to be in his late twenties has been lynched by the youth for practicing homosexuality.
Abdul Razak Ikililu, a resident of Maamobi, a suburb in the Greater Accra Region was attacked at a restaurant with his alleged partner by the group.
He was caught celebrating birthday with his gay partner at a local joint near by town.
He was ambushed by some vigilante group operating within the area for alleged involvement in homosexuality act.
According to a source closed to this portal, the vigilante group suspected Abdul Razak and reported him to the community chiefs of his activities but did not believe it.
Abdul Razak was finally caught red handed on the day he was celebrating his partner’s birthday and confessed to the group that he was a gay.
Abdul Razak’s crime was that he lure other young people in the act which is typically against the tenets of Islamic religion and the community.
He had to flee town after several attacks and threats from the youth.
Due to the number of phone call threates, he decided to flee the country for safer place.
The source further indicated that the vigilante group spreading information to other communities to be on the lookout of his whereabout.
The vigilante groups, prior to all their actions, have alerted other members of the community on their activities in search of Abdul Razak
