Sack ‘bias Sheikh’ from CODEO, ONCI – Zongo Caucus Coordinator
Pressure mounting on the office of the National Chief Imam (NCI) to sack his ‘politically bias’ spokesperson, Sheikh Aremeyau Shuaib.
The so-called Scholar, this portal has gathered that, had several meetings and engagements with the ruling New Patriotic Party prior to the December 7th polls which resulted in the government promising him juicy position in their next term should the party wins the elections.
Sheikh Aremeyau, who is currently the acting president of Coalition of Domestic Election Obversers (CODEO), has admitted having the same figure with that of Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana in the just ended polls.
After the flawed declaration of presidential result by the EC, Ghanaian voters took to their social media handles to exposed the shambolic results by the EC.
For some days now the EC kept changing figures on their website and social media pages.
Ali Ismaila Horoya, the Greater Accra Zongo Caucus Cordinator for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) took a swipe at the CODEO president calling for his immediate dismissal from the office of National Chief Imam.
According to Horoya, such characters are not fit to be speaking for the National Chif Imam who is known for his independence and truth.
He said Sheikh Aremeyawo has already dent the image of Chief Imam and entire Muslim fraternity across the country and should be sacked by now.
“This is somebody who cloth himself and lie to people that he is sheikh and speak for the National Chief Imam but very dangerous to our nation building “, he stated.
Mr. Sumaila Ali Horoya was speaking to ghanaiandemocrat in an interview today in Accra urged all Muslims not take the Sheikh seriously and must be seen as one of the NPP surrogates planted at the ONC to promote their agenda.
He challenged Sheikh Aremeyawo to come out publicly to deny he is not an NPP card bearing member.
The Zongo Caucus Cordinator threatened to expose Sheikh Aremeyawo and prove to the entire nation that he is an NPP planted at the ONC to prosecute an agenda just as they did by organizing the shambolic Thanksgiving on Friday at the blind side of Shekh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.
