Alhaji Said Saleh Sinare, Ghana’s reappointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, says his latest diplomatic assignment is a renewed mandate to deliver results that matter – particularly for the youth, Zongo communities and the ordinary Ghanaian.
In a heartfelt statement following his reappointment by President John Dramani Mahama, Sinare pledged to transform Ghana’s foreign mission in Riyadh into a center of practical opportunity, with a focus on job creation, scholarships, labour migration and people-centered partnerships in trade, education and investment.
“This is more than a diplomatic role; it is a renewed call to serve with greater responsibility, integrity and national purpose,” he said.
The veteran diplomat praised President Mahama for demonstrating trust in experience and loyalty. “Your Excellency, you have shown that leadership is not just about rotating positions but about delivering results with relevance and loyalty. When seasoned hands are needed, you don’t hesitate,” he noted.
Sinare’s renewed mission is driven by what he calls a “heart full of purpose and a mind shaped by years of service.” His focus will be on practical diplomacy that directly benefits the youth and vulnerable groups – especially in the Zongo communities.
Crucially, the Ambassador didn’t forget those who stood with him. He dedicated the reappointment to “the many silent foot soldiers, the determined youth and the resilient Zongo communities whose hopes I carry with pride.”
He also extended heartfelt gratitude to the scores of well-wishers who sent messages of support across various platforms. “To the many well-wishers across the country and beyond who have flooded my inboxes, phones and timelines with messages, prayers and support – thank you, na gode, medaase. Your love sweet pass honey. Your encouragement fuels me,” he said warmly.
As he resumes his role in Riyadh, Alhaji Sinare says he draws strength from Almighty Allah and the collective unity and wisdom of the Ghanaian people. He reiterated his commitment to turning embassies into tools of empowerment and ensuring Ghana’s foreign policy translates into tangible, life-changing opportunities.
“May Ghana rise, may our flag fly higher, and may this journey bring lasting prosperity to our people,” he concluded.
