Philanthropist donates Mathsets to School Pupils in Subin
Philanthropist, Mr. Ernest Agyemang Duah has donated educational materials including mathematical sets (Mathsets) to candidates writing the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Subin constituency in the Ashanti Region.
The educational material and mathsets worth thousands of Ghana cedis were given to two schools namely, Amakom Abrotia Junior High School and St.Monica’s Preparatory School.
The BECE examination is set to begin countrywide from June 4 to 8, 2018.
Mr. Agyemang Duah who is a resident of the Subin constituency said the gesture formed part of his avowed commitment towards the pursuit of quality education in the constituency which is also in line with President Nana Akufo Addo’s policy of enhancing a strong educational structure in Ghana.
He also admonished students to refrain from examination malpractices and observe all examination rules.
The philanthropistwished the candidates well and pledged to assist any student, who would work hard to pursue their dreams.
The students and management of the beneficiary students expressed their appreciation to Mr Agyemang Duah for his kind gesture.
The students promised to study hard so as to uplift the image of the constituency and the country.
They called on individuals and corporate organisations to emulate Mr Agyemang Duah.
