Office of President-Elect Debunks Social Media Appointment Lists as Fake

THE OFFICE of the President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama, has officially discredited viral social media posts claiming appointments and nominations purportedly made by him. In a statement released on Monday, December 16, 2024, the office categorically labeled such lists as “false and unauthorised.”

Signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President-Elect, the release urged the public to refrain from sharing unverified information. Instead, the office advised Ghanaians to rely solely on official communications.

This comes as rumours of appointments continue to circulate widely on social media platforms, prompting the need for clarity from the President-Elect’s team.
