Oblieman Residents Live in Fear
The people of Oblieman near Opah in the Ga West Municipality are jittering in fear for their lives over the incarceration of their chief, Nii Ayittey Anumle 1.
The have called for justice over the shooting incidence which led to the arrest of some individuals including their chief.
The residents narated that the whole incidence was orchestrated by one Nii Abbey Okanfra aka Staff, a development chief at Sarpeiman near Oblieman-opah, over a piece of land situated at Oblieman.
Oblieman is a fast developing area which is becoming the heartbeat of the Municipality.
The area has also catch the eyes of several investors which has resulted in a mad rush for their piece of land by prospective clients.
They alleged that Staff has been arrested severally by the Amasaman police over land litigation and anytime he gets released, he comes back to torment them.
This portal gathered that Nii Anumle Aryitey Oyanka I has lots of court judgments in his favour against Staff and there are other cases pending before the court .
The people were tight-lipped during a random chat with this portal, but spoke on conditions of anonymity, suspected the whole shooting incidence to be orchestrated by Staff.
Almost five people sustained various degrees of injuries. Some of them told this portal that they were first attacked at Nii Oblie palace by Staff his boys.
Others also accused the Nii Oblie boys of retaliating when they met some of Staff boys on the street resulting in the clash.
As at this report, what really led to the shooting at the palace is not yet known, but the police picked up the two chiefs, Nii Anumle Aryitey I and Nii Abbey Okanfra I, aka Staff.
They would appear in court on September 4, 2019 for the substance and to ascertain the cause of the whole case.
