Oblieman Chief Wins Land Tittle Case
Chief of Oblieman-opah in the Greater Accra Region, Nii Ayittey Anumle Oyanka has on Friday, 3rd May, 2019 won a land title case against Nana Yaw Boakye at the High Court of the Republic of Ghana in Accra.
According to the the reliefs and judgement granted by the Court presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Afia Serwah Asare-Botwe (Mrs) of the High Court, all documents, title deeds and indenuresmade in favour of the Plaintiff and others grantees of the Plaintiff’s grantors amongst many other things have been cancelled.
The suit was filed on 9th August, 2017 at the High Court with the suit No. LD/0881/2017 by Nana Yaw Boakye in the Greater Accra Region. He sought refraining orders to stop the defendant from interfering, selling or entering the parcel of land.
The action was as a result of fraudulent lands sale by the plaintiff, his agents and grantors to the unsuspecting members of the general public.
The court awarded the cost of GH3000 in favour of the defendant.
The defendants were represented by lawyers of Dubik Yakubu Mahama and Akrofi Kumoji of Pax and Wells chambers.
Inconclusion, the Chief of Oblieman-opah has been causioning the plaintiff and his agents from dubiously selling land and forging fake land documents and signatures to their clients .
