NPP sharing CAP Buss support fund among their members as Dr Bawumia’s wife caught registering NPP Zongo Women
The ongoing applications to access the Coronavirus Alleviation Program Business support package for small and micro businesses across the country has taken a political twist.
Top officials and power brokers in the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, government are taken list of their members from the various regions and constituencies across the country leaving out eligible Ghanaians businesses in their financial distress due to COVID-19.
Information intercepted at the kaokudi culture center where women mostly NPP branch or poling station executives are gathered for the processing of their application.
An applicant who spoke to ghanaiandemocrat.com (name withheld) said they have been put into groups according to the poling station you belong to.
She explained that as part of the requirements, one needs to hold a voters ID, NPP membership card or a recommendation from the constituent executives and filled application form.
According to her, though the exercise which restricted to women’s wing of the party, other members of the community who heard about it were also there to apply.
The applicant confirmed that the directive and officials in charge of the application process where coming from the office of the second lady, Hajia Samira Bawumia.
Our sources have also gathered that the stimulus package is been used to compensate some members of the ruling NPP ahead of the general elections.
