NPP Hoodlums Destroying Posters of NDC PC at Okaikoi South

Okaikoi South Sub Metro chairman, Mr. George Quaye has led a group of New Patriotic Party NPP hoodlums to destroy posters of National Democratic Congress NDC parliamentary candidate for the area, Hon. Ernest Adomako on sutarday.

The incidence took place around Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

It glaring that NDC PC posters has dominated all corners of the constituency sending shivers down the spin of NPP MP of the area, Darkua Newman.

When Mr. Ernest Adomako aka Keon got to the scene, he saw to himself some of the contructed guys in the evening busily removing his posters at Nkrumah circle and captured them on camera as evidence.

Hon. vowed to resist and meet the NPP thuggery the next time they tried it.

He said as law abiding citizen he he would report to the appropriate authorities for investigation but added that this act of indiscipline would not be countenance by the NDC in the constituency.

People were surprised with the swift manner Ernest Adomako, NDC PC, the Constituency Chairman and his executives, and party faithfuls turned up in their numbers at circle that evening.

The NDC PC indicated the party showed preparedness going into 2024 general elections by demonstrating to the NPP their vigilance to the admiration of people at circle. “We will not succumb to their (NPP) intimidation tactics. The 2024 general elections will be a different ball game altogether”, Mr. Adomako assured.

Commending his executives and the youth who joined him, he said, “we have shown them that there is strength in numbers”. “As law-abiding party members, we will wait for the scheduled meeting by the Assembly”. “However, a word of caution: if they do not restore all the posters that were removed, we will take our own measures”, he warned.
