NDC Greater Accra Ward Coordinators Call For Recognition

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency ward coordinators in the Greater Accra Region are appealing to the party for recognition of their efforts in bringing the party back to power.

According to them, they have played a pivotal role in ensuring the victory of the party was secured at all cost.

In an interview with some of their leaders with the Ghanaian democrat.com, they have lamented that there is a deliberate attempt by constituency executives to sideline them in the ongoing appointments.

They noted that recognitions are only giving to constituency and regional executives while some of them who have the requisite qualifications are set aside.

“We are the ones doing most of the jobs in our various wards but when the time comes for us to rip our benefits the constituency executives hijack everything to themselves “, they stated.

Their therefore appealing to the national executive to intervene in making sure that the party give recognition to the grassroots.

They called on the regional chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore to also intervene.

With this call, they urged the regional chairman to convey a meeting with all ward coordinators to abreast himself with what is happening in various constituencies.
