My Vision Is To Rebrand Birim NDC Towards Election 2020-chairman Nurudeen
The newly elected chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Birim constituency of the Eastern region, Hon. Alhaji Nurudeen Muhammad, says he is determined to re-brand the NDC in the constituency, make it extra attractive to the youth and elders in the constituency.
The rebranding will help bring majority of residents in the area both party members and none members to accept the outstanding progressive ideologies and visions of the NDC to augment the party’s efforts towards winning the 2020 elections.
Emphasizing his chances in the primaries, he indicated that the contest was a stronger one against a 16year old incumbent chairman with a lot of experience but he, together with his team were determined to relieve the NDC of the apathetical bitterness among the rank and file of the party, for that matter they consulted the existing founding fathers of the party who assured them of the possibility of their victory when they contest.
Alhaji Nurudeen Muhammed however indicated he intends to put up party offices in the various communities and abolish the church room meetings that have become the norm of the party in many of the communities. Again he intends to roll out beneficial youth and adult programs to bring everybody on board the NDC’s election 2020 vehicle.
Chairman Nurudeen has also promised to provide party cards to non -bearing card members to make them have a sense of belonging in the party as well as create three active caucus groups such as, the Zongo ,Ga-Dangbe and the Ewe caucuses to be able to administer adequate supervision on their membership.
Speaking about his source of support to carry out all his visions, Hon, Nurudeen indicated that he has a strong and better rapore with his immediate past parliamentary candidate, Hon. Mavis Ama Frimpong as well as the former DCE of the area and will soon converge a meeting to look at the way forward. He also mentioned that he will use his dynamic lobbying skills to solicit support in terms of resources to accomplish the tasks.
Hon. Alhaji Nurudeen Muhammad has humbly appealed to all members of the NDC in the Birim constituency forgive all wrongs, eschew their bitterness and rally behind him and his newly elected team of executives and work hard to win the 2020 election.
Ismael Ibrahim, the constituency communication officer was very optimistic that the people of zongo have awaken and would not be deceived to vote against the hardship economic condition brought upon the people of Ghana by the NPP led Nana Akufo Addo’s government.
