Massive Resignation to Hit Ghana Health Service Over COVID-19 Scares

This is according to what we learnt, to safeguard their lives and that of their families. 

Currently, one suspected case of COVID-19 is reported at the Korle bu Teaching Hospital awaiting for the results at Nugorchi laboratory. 

Our checks indicates that health workers mostly doctors and nurses are afraid of the outbreak of the disease since they would be posted to the centers. 

They therefore intend to tender in their resignation letter should there be an outbreak across the country.

Our source found out that their resignation was to prevent the service from posting them to the facilities mark for cOVID -19.

Efforts to get in touch with the health Service workers proved futile as the authorities are tight lipped.
