Madina Goes Gay For “NDC walk into Victory” Campaign
Residents, traders and party lovers abandoned their brick businesses to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC) “walk into Victory” unity walk on Saturday morning in the La Nkwatanang Municipal in the Greater Accra Region.
The walk started at Riss junction on the legon Madina highway, through to the main madina road amidst cheers and fun.
Though they lost the seat to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), residents have since expressed disappointment two year into the NPP government.
According to some residents who took the pain to speak to this reporter, said the Akufo Addo led administration is a sham, only took advantage of the Ghanaian situation to lied the electorates to power.
They cried of lack of patronage of their goods adding that “things are more difficult under NPP government than any government since the beginning of fourth republic”.
Meanwhile, the constituency chairman, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim said the walk was to unite the rank and file of the party in the constituency.
He admitted that due to the disunity among the executive in the constituency, resulted the lost of the seat to the NPP.
“We have buried our differences and working as a team now, what we have on the ground currently signifies our readiness to grab power from the NPP”, he said.
The constituency communication officer, Mr. Asufolim Ajadok Jacob said Ghanaians are already calling on the NDC to come back and rescue the country from getting Collapse.
He said Ghanaians have been confronted with unprecedented level of corruption and incompetency and therefore calling on the citizenry to start demanding for the accountability of their money .
