A Ghanaian woman who has been married for two years is already fed up with the marriage.

The anonymous woman who confided in David Papa Bondze-Mbir, a writer and a relationship expert on social media, confessed that her husband is making sleeping next to him very ‘uncomfortable’.

She explained that her husband drools every night, a disease despite her efforts in fighting it, is making their marriage fall apart.

“I don’t know the English name for ‘Ano nnsu’ but my husband is making sleeping next to him a chore. ‘Otwa ano nnsu’ too much… And, it smells like hell. We’ve been married for Two (2) years and I am tired of enduring it.”

She explained aside washing the sheets and pillow covers almost every day, they have been to hospital but still sees no improvement.

The worst, she said, is when she wakes up at dawn to see her face and arm bathed with her husband’s ‘Ano nnsu’.

“He is the touchy type too, and would always want to sleep in my embrace. I have woken up a dozen times with his ‘Ano nnsu’ all over my face and arms.”

Her husband in his bid to also stop drooling, brushes his teeth before bed and uses a mouthwash but still, it stinks.

“I really can’t do this anymore. I can’t sleep next to him until he figures the best way out to solve this problem”, she told Papa Bonzde-Mbir.

We’ve been married for Two (2) years and I am tired of enduring it. I have been washing our sheets and pillow covers, almost every day, just to sleep on something clean.

He is the touchy type too, and would always want to sleep in my embrace. I have woken up a dozen times with his ‘Ano nnsu’ all over my face and arms. He brushes his teeth before bed. He uses mouth wash and all, but still, it stinks. We’ve been to the doctor because I thought it could be a medical situation, but nothing works, Dave.

Anytime he wakes up at dawn and sees the mess he’s caused, he wipes his mouth with the sheets or covers, and goes back to sleep in it. I can’t breathe, I can’t enjoy his closeness anymore. It’s disturbing me.

I always wake to go sleep in another room, and he finds that offensive. He knows I am enduring all this, but Dave, I really can’t do this anymore. I can’t sleep next to him until he figures the best way out to solve this problem.”
