The El-Bethel prayer centre of the Voice of the Lord Evangelical Church- Nkawkaw has marked its third anniversary celebrations with a call on Ghanaians and Christians to pray for the peace of the nation with love and honor for its leaders to make way for God’s blessings to fall on the people.

Apostle Samuel Kofi Dadzie, the general overseer of the church, emphasized that Ghanaians cannot claim to be democratically patriotic without loving and honoring the leaders of the country. According to him, no one could claim to love God and hate his brother and for that reason any Ghanaian who calls him or herself a Christian and disrespects our presidents, members of parliament or assembly members is a liar and must reconsider their religious beliefs.

The spiritual leader of the Voice of the Lord Evangelical Church, further cautioned Ghanaians especially the youth to be careful how they speak with impunity to leaders of the country and the elderly because of democracy.

Because once these leaders assume our fatherly positions in the country, their tongues have the power to bless and to curse as well.

Apostle Samuel Kofi Dadzie again advices that Ghanaians should desist from always looking for the issues that bring people down and rather seek the welfare of ourselves. He also called on Christians to unite and even seek the unity amongst other religions in Ghana.

On the issue of government policies, the president and leader of the church further emphasized that we shall all reap what we sow and therefore must support every good and logical policy that the government introduce such as the current Free Senior High School and other pro-poor policies that the Akuffo Addo led government has introduced.

Apostle Samuel Dadzie however cautioned pastors not to play blind politics with God’s church by inciting their members against political leaders but rather pray for the leaders to make unifying decisions that will help all Ghanaians everywhere.

He however called on all Ghanaian youth to avoid using drugs such as tramadol and other detrimental materials to make them live long.

Finally, Apostle Dadzie expressed his condolences to the family of the late former vice president, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur on his sudden demise last Friday.
