Let’s not Lose Focus For 2024 Elections – NDC’s Zongo Caucus Boss to Party Supporters
The Greater Accra Zongo Caucus Cordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Ismail Ali Horoya has called on the teaming supporters of the party to remain focus as the party prepare itself towards the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Horoya reminded the party’s supporters of the huge task ahead of them to ensure the corrupt Nana Akufo Addo’s led New Patriotic Party (NPP) is kicked out of office come December 2024.
Speaking in an interview with the Ghanaian Democrat via zoom, Mr. Horoya charged the supporters not to allow to be used against what happened in parliament few weeks ago to divide their united front.
Horoya was very optimistic that the party’s strong united front formed bases for NPP to use some selfish minority parliamentarians as a yardstick to divide the leadership in the house.
“What happened in parliament formed part of NPP’s grand scheme to incite supporters against their MPs in the next elections “, he stated.
He appealed to the ranks and file of the party to delve into the matter a bring a lasting solution.
The Functional Executive Committee FEC of NDC over the week issued a statement urging supporters to seize fire as the committee looks into the matter.
