LA NDC Working Committee Inaugurated
The Youth wing of the La Dadekotopon Constituency of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, on Saturday inaugurated a Youth Working Committee to spearhead the Party’s agenda of securing massive votes in the constituency in the upcoming 2020 General Elections.
It amid at getting more Ghanaians onboard to buy into the transformational policies and programmes of the National Democratic Congress.
The working committee consists of 65 members with 21 females and 44 males. They are also mandated to coordinate activities of the party’s Youth Wing, as well as all identifiable youth groups to achieve its objectives.
It was on the theme, “Equipping the Youth for Victory 2020.”
At a ceremony to inaugurate the committee at La in the Greater Accra region, the National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, and George Opare Addo admonished party members to speak on the plans of the party to salvage Ghanaians from their current difficulties.
He said spending time on discussing irrelevant issues of the current government will not help the party.
Mr. Addo said the return of the NDC will not come on a silver platter therefore party faithful must go the extra mile to educate the electorate on what the NDC stands for.
He urged the committee members to see themselves as ambassadors of the party and let their lifestyles be exemplary.
The La Youth Organizer, Francis Ken Anderson who outlined the roles of the member’s entreated them to make themselves available at all times.
He said the success of the NDC was dependent on the youth and as such it behooves them to close their ranks and work together to benefit the party.
Other Constituency Youth organizers called for peace among the working committee members to help the party to realize its agenda 2020 vision.
