La Dadekotopon Unity Walk Unites NDC Flag Bearer Aspirants
Flag bearer aspirants of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have expressed readiness to rally support behind whoever wins in the upcoming presidential primaries in January, 2019.
La Dadekotopon NDC set the tone for unity before the upcoming presidential primaries allowing candidates present to pledge their commitment to clean campaign and acceptance of the aftermath of the elections.
The walk brought together party supporters, sympathizers and other well wishing Ghanaians who are seeking to see a change in the political leadership of the country.
The walk also forms part of the constituency post election plans to bring together past and present constituency and branch executives to chart the way forward towards victory 2020.
Addressing party people shortly after the walk, the former Trade and Industry Minister also one of the candidates contesting the Flagbearership position of the party, Dr. Ekow Spio Gabrah reminded them of the bad economic policies initiated by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the need to inform Ghanaians about it.
He said is needless for the aspirants to fight among themselves when the NPP led Nana Akufo Addo administration is putting the country in shambles.
Dr. Spio observed that Ghanaians are yenning for the coming back of the NDC adding that “there is the need for the party to work harder for Ghanaians to have confidence in the NDC”.
Mr. Sylvester Mensah who took his turn to address supporters advised that unity should be the hall mark of the party ahead of the 2020 national elections.
For him, the challenges facing the country currently demand the return of NDC to power to bring ease to the Ghanaian populace.
The representatives of JDM and Goosie Tanor have all called for clean campaign and unity after the January 26th presidential primaries of the party.
