Given the content of the Kwesi B committee report, it’s become evident that, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lost the 2016 election mainly because of the apathy in its world bank, Volta Region.
Professor Joshua Alabi who has very strong family ties with the people of Volta enclave isn’t sleeping at all on his laurels and leaving no stone unturned as he jockeys for the Presidential slot of the party.
Today Prof Joshua Alabi was the guest of honor at a ground breaking event for the construction of STAAF Volunteers Community Library at Sokpoe, in the South Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region. Not only this, there has been several engagement in this regard to really touch base with the people. To consolidate the dawn of new hope, the chiefs of the Tongu enclave have given a parcel of land to Professor Alabi for building purposes. This has been done so that when He assumes the Presidency of the Republic of Ghana, He can periodically visit home and rest among his people.
It has been said that, when a dog will not bite you, it will not bear its teeth to you. The people in the ewe enclave have shown that, they have hope in NDC as Joshua Alabi as its Presidential candidate more than John Mahama.
The man is strenuously reinvigorating, rejuvenating and whipping up enthusiasm and hope in the people.
Plain truth is that, the Volta enclaves have lost faith and hope in the ability of John Mahama’s leadership to transform their lives.
