John Dramani Mahama To Make Sanitary Pads Free For Girls
The former president and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has promised to give free sanitary pads for girls especially senior high students when he wins the 2024 general elections.
The current Nana Addo Bawumia government has palced tax burden of 20% on sanitary pads for girls which has a great negatively impact on girls in the country.
Addressing party supporters and the people of Weneba in the Central Region during the party’s 2024 manifesto launch made this known.
