Ineffective Leadership Affected NDC Youth Front – Nii Afutu

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Organiser hopeful for the Greater Accra Region, Solomon Nii Afutu Quartey, has revealed that due to ineffective youth leader in the region also contributed to the lost of the 2016 elections. 

In an interview with Ghanaiandemocrat.com in Accra after he submitting his completed nomination forms, he said the NDC youth front suffered from ineffective leadership that has ran out of ideas to mobilize the youth to work for the party in the last election.

Nii Afutu noted that the youth were not motivated to make their intrinsic efforts for the NDC to retain power in the 2016 national elections.

Though he would not disclose his strategies, his view was the youth organiser ought to have worked harder to get more of the youth to vote massively for the party to win the 2016 elections in the Greater Accra Region.

As former Greater Accra Regional Director of Youth Entrepreneur Agency (YEA), who helped numerous NDC youth to gain employment, and others trained in various entrepreneurship skills, said he was coming to the youth front with innovative ideals to transform the NDC.

Nii Afutu promised amongst many other things hard work to bring back the lost NDC youth home. In an interview with this Portal, he was also grateful to God that Moses Apor, NPP Regional Youth Oganiser cannot be a threat to him, with his capacity and qualities compare that of Apor.

He says Moses Apor knows his pedigree, qualities and his versatility when it comes to organizational work, this encouraged him the more when the youth called him to contest for the Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser position.

Nii Afutu Quartey assured the youth, majority of who are delegates and accompanied him to file his completed nomination forms, of not disappointing them.
