Afia Schwarzenegger

Afia Schwarzenegger has reacted to Tv Africa’s claim that they do not owe her GH16,000 as they told zionfelix.net after the comedienne took to social media to shame them.

The radio and TV presenter in a long explanation on instagram following her former employer’s statement has admitted that she is in a possession of a Hyundai car but will only return it after the station has paid her Gh16,000, an amount they owe her. Afia in the post made known her resignation letter she sent to officials of the company through WhatsApp.

According to the Instagram post zionfelix.net read, the outspoken media personality detailed how the media house breached parts of the agreement both brands signed which led to her resignation.

She wrote (unedited)

“Dear @tvafricagh
Since you want it this way lets do it.. Do u understand what a breach of agreement or contract is…if you do then you will know that u breached our terms of agreement by owing me salary for 4 months..how do u think i was fuelling my car to work n also chasing sponsors for my show??? Was marketing part of my job???
Did u write to officially apologize for not paying me???Did u officially communicate ur inability to pay my salary ?? Or As for Afia de3…..
Did u pay me commission on advert i brought??
As for the car we all know i dnt own it…i own a Bmw X6 and if i recieve my 16,000 i will return it…

Respect yourself and pay me my money..i need to feed my mum n children…PERIOD
I hate it when people want to have problems with u over what is duly yours.
SwIpe to read the resignation message i sent to my bosses.”

Before this long letter from the former employee of TV Africa, top officials of the station had told zionfelix.net that “Afia’s contract was officially terminated after she had breached her contractual obligations by going on some traditional media and social media platforms to announce her resignation from the station.

They continued that “it is important to note however, that per her contract, Valentina had to give a one-month notice to management as a condition that needed to be fulfilled before she could abrogate her services. But this she clearly flouted.

That notwithstanding, a letter dated January 21, 2019, to Valentina Agyeiwaa stipulating the “rules of engagement” for both parties to resolve the situation went unanswered.

Calls to Valentina Agyeiwaa from management were neither responded to nor replied. In this regard, Afia, who is currently driving a brand new black Hyundai Tucson (4×4) that belongs to TV Africa knows very well about the conditions to return it to her employers for any outstanding financial settlement.

It is therefore regrettable and disingenuous that madam Valentina Agyeiwaa would take to social media to snuggle out a non-issue, knowing very well she has a TV Africa property in her possession that needs to be returned.

We wish to put on record nonetheless, that a few months back Madam Valentina Agyeiwaa was requested by management to retract a statement she made on one of her shows “POLITICAL POLICE” which did not resonate appropriately with the editorial policy of the station.

Madam Agyeiwaa flatly refused the ethical standard procedure to retract and apologize and rather chose to walk out on the entire production team in the process.”
